Privacy policy

This policy explains how Spare Controller ("we"), an independent publication based in Kraków, Poland, handles data. Contact: hello@sparecontroller.com.

What we collect

• No accounts, no comments, no newsletter forms. We don't ask for your personal information.
• No analytics or advertising cookies are set by this site.
• Server logs. Like any website, our hosting provider records technical information (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) in server logs for security and to keep the site running. These logs are kept for a limited time and not used to identify you.

Third-party services

• Fonts. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers. See Google's privacy policy for details.
• Affiliate links. When you click a link to a retailer, you leave our site. The retailer and its affiliate network (for example, Rakuten Advertising) may set cookies to record that you came from our site, so that a commission can be attributed if you buy something. Their privacy policies apply on their sites.

Your rights

If you're in the European Union, you have rights under the GDPR, including access to and deletion of personal data. US residents may have rights under state privacy laws. Because we don't collect personal data beyond server logs, there's usually nothing to request — but you can always contact us at the address above.

Children

This site is for a general audience and doesn't knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top.
